Epic yays amirite?

Well after about 3 months from its announcment, I finally got version 2 of my site released. I'm actually pretty proud of it, I usually hate any layouts I make after they're done, never turn out right. I really like this one. I'm also proud because it was my first ever wordpress template from scratch, all by my lonesome.

Anyway, besides the layout, Rid and I added alot more content. Animations/Downloads/Videos have all been updated and whatnot. So have other parts of the site.

Anyway, go ahead and check it out. Bookmark the hell outta it!

So today I released my first animation in a while, "Really Short Cartoon Episode 1". I guess I'll be making it a series because of how easy and effective they are to animate (this took me 1.5 days to make).

Okay, not really. Anyway, so, Madness 8. Pure sex, no? Of course it is.

So, I watched it. Then I got to watching other Madness animations. Then I got to playing the Madness game. Then I got to watching Madness Day submissions (including my own winning animation, HQ Madness). Now I'm all Madness-tized.

So what did I start doing? If you guessed making a Madness animation, then you're dead on. Here's a screenshot so far:

I feel pretty good. I've finally received my first NG award for my animation " *Poke* "- Daily 4th (lol). I don't care if it was Daily 100th, I still got something, lol. It's funny, because this animation was started and finished on the same day. My friend and I saw this video on youtube, and we happened to see one of the comments that said:

| "Wtf was that black shit?"

| "The whale."

That made us laugh and kinda got me thinkin'. And since I was bored, I just started doodling the ocean floor, the bomb, the fish, clipping the video to fit into the animation and whalla, by 6pm I had created " *Poke* " out of pure boredom. It turned out pretty well, I guess, gettin' alot of great feedback.

Oh, and I just got a pretty ol' Wacom Bamboo Fun (6x8) tablet, so I'm still kinda drooling over that, I hope to snap out of it and start making some worthy animations soon again.

I just did a barrell roll. It was awesome.

Well, this is my fifth day home from school, I'll be going back tomorrow, but I'm bored as hell and it's only 10:00am... Anyone have any ideas for me? lol.

On another note, I've been learning myself some actionscript the past week and with help from the NG BBS, this is what I've been able to put together in the past few days: Clicky
Arrow Keys- Move
Tap 'Up" Twice- Double Jump

That's all he does at the moment. I'm going to try to get the background I made (the hills/trees/houses) to move a bit when the character moves to give a sense of depth, but I'm not sure how. I know the code and all...but not how to make it bug proof...it's tough to explain. Then I'm gonna work on adding "coins" and whatnot, some health, score...etc. Once it's all pretty and ironed out, I'll start with AI, but since I'm still new at AS, it's gonna be real tough.

Anyway...waddaya think, lol?

Currently I am designing a new site for me and my bud to showcase our media on. (Finally got premium hosting and a real domain).

So, to make the site a success, I want to know what YOU would like to see on it. What features, etc?

Well, I just got my Madness Day winnings today.
